Start Zone Issues
- Q: What should I do if the Start button does not become active when I enter the Start Zone?
- A: Sometimes the phone will give intermittent GPS location errors. There is error detection in the app which will restart the GPS detection after 10 seconds. This will sometimes fix the problem.
- A: Restart the Manitou Incline App. Push the Home button once to send the app into the background. Then double tap the Home button to open the list of apps running in the background. Hold your finger on the Manitou Incline App until it jiggles. Then pick the minus button to kill the app. Push the Home button again to close the background apps. Then launch the Manitou Incline app again. This will also sometimes fix the problem.
- A: Reboot the phone by holding down the Home and the Sleep (upper right) buttons at the same time until the red power-off slider appears. Slide to power off or keep holding until the Apple logo appears. This should fix the problem.
